artsy being
appreciating the arts in all aspects...tat's wat i'd been doing for the past week...sounds refreshing huh? since i'm dedicating my upcoming yrs to the wonders of science(again! hehez)...it's impt tat i still hold onto my interest in arts...so i wanna be a 'balanced' person...wahahaz...basically...went on an 'educational' trip to the asian civilisation museum with hui & simin last tues...kinda looking forward to it as it'd been million light yrs since i stepped into a museum...thank god to the excursions tat schs had been organising...or else i wld be still an ignorant person...hahaz...i shld say it was a nice experience...cos i didnt went there as role of a student...but a visitor...so we walked around on our own pace...admiring & appreciating the sculptures/cultures/history...& it's no joke tat u can practically spend ur whole day in a museum...so much to see & learn...we also encountered pri sch kids in the museum...probably it was their excursion...wah...memories...hehez...our fruitful trip then ended with a nice dinner at new york new york & shopping at suntec... :)
went to unleash my singing ability last thurs also...hahaz...first time singing outing with a big grp which is my og-gurgle....it's really lucky to find frens who luv singing like i do...hahaz...though it wasnt full attendance but we all still had fun...thanx to them...i found a new & cheap place to sing!!!! definitely cheaper than kbox...songs are rather updated...free flow of drinks...a free bowl of shark's fin soup!?!...juz mere $10 NETT for 2pm-7pm slot...it's a ktv located in chinatown...walkable distance from the mrt...so who noes...i may patronise the place often...hahaz...so all of us sang chinese pop songs...selected songs up to 13-14 pages full...& took loads of pics...it was a cool experience indeed...after tat...we had our dinner at nearby maxwell hawker...yummy yummy porridge & tofu specialty...hehez...
one of the many photos taken...credits to cindy-my senior cum the photographer...hehez...helped out sci rag last fri as promised...hehez...i realised i need to take 2 hrs to reach sch in cases when i missed my buses & trains...ahhh...why i live so far from sch? ok...i shld live in a hall right? but my mum dun really support tis idea...& i can find no one to share a double room with me...no wonderful jc cca record to be given a room...too lazy to be fully independent...ok lots of reasons to give...hahaz...so i juz have to find a shorter route or to pass the time...or ultimately to learn driving?!? back to rag...didnt do marche tis time...but i learnt how to make a craft using juz aluminium cans...yesh! a peacock! so proud of myself when i did my first recycled material-based peacock...though it looked a bit weird...my another successful art piece since folding cranes & stars...hehez...it's always gd to learn new stuff...so gonna go help rag tis week again!
been busy watching anime these few days...so if u catch me msn online...at the busy status...i'm either blogging or engrossing in my shows...hahaz...i juz finished watching a nice anime 'Harukanaru Toki no Nakade Hachiyosho'...if u're a fushigi yuugi fan...u can watch tis! it's somehow similar to fushigi yuugi where there's a girl went back to ancient times...holding power of a dragon priestess & got 8 protectors (or called 'hachiyos')...but it was a shorter anime (26 epi) with not much luv element (surprisingly...) and not much comedy either...but overall...it had a good plot, nice opening/ending songs & in-depth stories of the 8 protectors...actually...i wanted to start watching other jdorama or taiwan idol dramas...but in the end...got addicted to anime first...hehez...now currently watching 'Saiunkoku Monogatari'...it's also a historical setting based anime (dunno but i like tis kind of anime...hehez...)...very interesting anime abt imperial household & system...read more on wikipedia if ya interested...hehez...
hmmm...holidays shld be the time where we can organise & attend gatherings...but sadly...didnt get to do either one...hehez... i understand cos organising is really difficult...choosing a venue & time where all ppl can make it or most imptly...the no. of ppl coming is the question...so i really give up on tat...i rather attend gatherings to show my appreciation & support to the organiser...hehez...but probably all of us are busy with our own stuff tat we gradually fail to keep in touch or to find time planning...nevertheless...i'm glad to meet up with hui & simin last tues...had a nice phone chat with huimin...and upcoming activities with ong & ping...so maybe i shld take initiative to meet up other frens in small grps...tat's much easier i guess...hey hey pplz...dun forget me kies...inform me if there's any gatherings hor...pri/sec/jc/cca...miss me? can call me! bored to tears? date me out! need someone to talk? sms me! wanna noe how i am? hehez...can read my blog & tag! juz wanna be part of ur life juz like u've been part of mine! :P
